مثلا برای خانم ها بگیم;
You're in great shape, sarah
و برای آقایون بگیم;
You're really fit, Ali. Do you exercise a lot?

She’s big-boned/ large- boned.

She’s plump.

She’s petite.

I jog to keep fit.

I hope to get in shape for summer swimsuit season.

  • barrel-chested: a man who is barrel-chested has a round chest that sticks out
  • burly: describes a man who is large and strong
  • husky: A husky man or boy is big and strong.
  • leggy: A leggy woman or girl has long legs
  • hourglass figure: a woman who has an hourglass figure has a narrow waist in comparison with her chest and  hips

beautiful, pretty

handsome

good-looking, attractive, cute, gorgeous, nice-looking, lovely

"In good shape" is kind of relative to the age of the person you are talking about. When you say 'My girlfriend is in good shape" it usually means physically fit, but if you said "my grandmother is in good shape" it's more that she is healthy for her age.

Other example:"Which patient do you want in the O.R. first?" Answer: "The one on the left; the one on the right is in good shape" (meaning, "isn't facing any life-threatening injuries"). The phrase is quite flexible and context dependent.

Fit means :in good health, especially because of regular physical exercise.
"my family keep fit by walking and cycling"

"People who are physically fit are happier, healthier and more productive than those who are not."

also we have :"(as) fit as a fiddle" which means: In very good health

buttom line, when we use the word "fit"  the consept of exercising is basically implied

You can describe an athletic body as muscular, fit, strong,  in good shape, or “ripped” – that’s a slang word meaning that the person has very well-defined and visible muscles

good luck
